Recap: Saguaro Sabercats vs. Arcadia Titans
The Saguaro Sabercats lost against the Arcadia Titans two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Saguaro fell to Arcadia 54-49. Saguaro has struggled against Arcadia recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Justice Hinds and Quynnton Weatherspoon certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Hinds scored ten points along with five assists and four steals, while Weatherspoon scored six points along with ten rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trae Kaye, who scored five points along with two steals.
Saguaro has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Arcadia, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saguaro will take on Marcos de Niza at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Marcos de Niza is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Arcadia, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Mesquite at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. Mesquite has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,080 points over their last 16 matchups.
