Softball Recap: Page Pirates vs. Ragsdale Tigers
Page was the 7-3 winner over Ragsdale when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Page Pirates lost 17-7 to the Ragsdale Tigers on Friday. The Pirates' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Jaslyn Marshall and Ariel McAfee did some serious damage despite the final result: Marshall scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3, while McAfee got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run. Those two hits gave Marshall a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kassidy Swindell, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Page will head out to face off against Northwest Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ragsdale, they are taking a road trip to challenge Southeast Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeast Guilford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.5 runs per game this season.
