Softball Recap: Crestwood Takes a Loss

Crestwood came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Henry Ford Academy Navigators, falling 15-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Chargers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Crestwood's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Henry Ford Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Crestwood will be playing at home against Western International at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Henry Ford Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Chargers' match: after the Chargers face off against Romulus, they'll take on Henry Ford Academy again at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
