Softball Recap: Tawas Area Braves vs. Heston Academy Patriots
While Tawas Area put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Heston Academy. The Braves put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 13-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Kelsey Look made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Quinn Seyfried was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Rowan Davis was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
