Moorefield came into Thursday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Petersburg Vikings on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Yellow Jackets this season.

Moorefield never let Petersburg on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-23.

Moorefield's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Petersburg, they dropped their record down to 14-10-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Moorefield and Petersburg will both be playing Berkeley Springs the next time they take the court. The Yellow Jackets will head out to face the Indians at 7:10 p.m. on Monday, while the Vikings will host them at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday.
