After a string of six wins, Hamilton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Perry Pumas by a score of 3-2. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pumas earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Briley Pinks made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6-1. As for Perry, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Coming up, Hamilton and Chandler will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
