After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dakota, Romeo was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Utica Eisenhower Eagles by a score of 6-3. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Katie Murphy looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Romeo let Ava Yaklin and Jess McLeod run wild. Yaklin went 1-for-4 with one home run, while McLeod went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
