Baseball Recap: Hialeah-Miami Lakes Takes a Loss

Hialeah-Miami Lakes fell victim to Palmer Trinity and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Palmer Trinity Falcons. The game marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Hialeah-Miami Lakes and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Palmer Trinity, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Hialeah-Miami Lakes will take on Sheridan Hills Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Sheridan Hills Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.25 runs per game on average), something Hialeah-Miami Lakes will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Palmer Trinity, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-6 win against South Dade on the 28th.
