Volleyball Recap: Leo Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Leo had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Warsaw Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Leo wouldn't go down easily and took Warsaw into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 17-25, 23-25, 21-19.

The victory made it two in a row for Warsaw and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Leo will be playing at home against Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warsaw, they will challenge Carmel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
