Soccer Recap: Archbold Escapes with a Win

It was close, but on Saturday the Archbold Blue Streaks sidestepped the Defiance Bulldogs for a 2-1 victory.

The win improved Archbold's record to 3-4. As for Defiance, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 18 of their last 20 matches, dating back to last year. That leaves them at a 2-7 record this season.

Archbold will play host again on Saturday to welcome Ottawa-Glandorf, where kickoff is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. As for Defiance, they will challenge Shawnee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
