Volleyball Recap: Chestatee War Eagles vs. Dawson County Tigers
Chestatee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dawson County Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.
The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11.
Natalie Sykes paced Chestatee's offense, picking up three kills. Sykes got some help from Peyton Burke and her three assists.
Chestatee's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Dawson County, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season.
Chestatee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Dade County on the 25th. As for Dawson County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against North Hall on the 30th.
