Basketball Recap: Tecumseh Victorious

Tecumseh won the last time they faced Springport and things went their way on Friday too. The Tecumseh Indians came out on top against the Springport Spartans by a score of 58-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Despite the defeat, Springport had strong showings from Gibson Overweg, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards, and Dallas Higelmire, who posted ten points and three steals. That's the most steals Higelmire has posted since back in December of 2024.

Tecumseh's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Springport, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Tecumseh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-33 defeat against Milan on the 24th. As for Springport, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-51 victory against Leslie on the 26th.
