Olympic Heights waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Atlantic Eagles as they made off with a 20-2 win. Considering the Lions have won eight contests by more than ten runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kaitlyn Courtney made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Olympic Heights let Elsie Throckmorton and Alexa Gleichenhaus run wild. Throckmorton went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI, while Gleichenhaus went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
