Softball Game Preview: Lee Academy Pandas vs. Stearns Minutemen

Lee Academy hasn't had much luck against Stearns recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Pandas will square off against the Minutemen at 4:30 p.m. Lee Academy has given up an average of 11.2 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lee Academy is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Schenck, falling 18-10.

Meanwhile, Stearns sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over Penquis Valley on Wednesday.

Stearns' victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Lee Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Lee Academy suffered a grim 23-10 defeat to Stearns in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Pandas avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
