Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Napoleon). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Jonesville Comets a 19-0 shutout on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Kaitlyn Fall was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Fall was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Hayden Rendall was incredible, firing off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-4. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Haven Marker, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
