Moon Area kept a clean sheet against Central Valley on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors. That's more bragging rights for Moon Area, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Eric Haupt and Laercio De Sousa scored both of Moon Area's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Moon Area has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Moon Area will take on Archbishop Ryan in a tournament on Saturday. Archbishop Ryan's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Central Valley, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ambridge at 7:30 p.m. on September 2.
