Volleyball Recap: Central Dauphin East Comes Up Short

Central Dauphin East lost against Chambersburg back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Dauphin East started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23, 16-14.

Ahn-Toan Bui paced Central Dauphin East's offense, picking up 20 kills. Bui got some help from Pramesh Gurung and his 52 assists. Bui was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Central Dauphin East's loss dropped their record down to 10-15-3. As for Chambersburg, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Central Dauphin East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Cumberland Valley on the 24th. Chambersburg has also already played their next game (against State College), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
