Bridges made her presence known in Lafayette Christian's 45-27 loss
Carmen Bridges wasn't messing around on Thursday, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was her eighth straight with 16 or more points. While that hot streak is impressive, perhaps more impressive is what she's done for her team: she's scored a third or more of Lafayette Christian's points for eight straight games. For the season, Bridges has averaged 24.6 points, 3.2 steals, and 1.6 blocks per contest.
Bridges and Lafayette Christian will take on Trinity Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bridges hasn't had any trouble running up the score (she's averaged 24.6 per game this season), but it's looking like she'll have her work cut out for her against Trinity Prep's dominant defense.
