Softball Recap: Eagle Point Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Eagle Point's offense. They came up short against the Henley Hornets on Tuesday, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Eagle Point saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allison Martin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Eagle Point's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Henley, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Eagle Point will take on Phoenix on Tuesday. As for Henley, they will venture away from home to face off against Klamath Union at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
