The Royal Knights will square off against the Elma Eagles at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Royal is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.3 runs per game this season.

Royal had taken College Place down for five straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Knights fell 7-3 to the Hawks. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Avarie Hill was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.

Meanwhile, Elma won against Lakeside on Saturday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Eagles blew past Hoquiam 17-4. Considering the Eagles have won five matches by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Elma and bumps their season record up to 6-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Royal, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 10-2.
