After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wichita County, St. Francis was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-42 win over the Weskan Coyotes. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

St. Francis can attribute much of their success to Eden Britton, who went 7 for 11 on her way to 17 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Matilynn Smull, who posted four points and five steals.

St. Francis was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

St. Francis' victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Weskan, their loss dropped their record down to 3-4.

St. Francis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-17 defeat against Idalia on the 10th. As for Weskan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-21 win against Triplains/Brewster on the 10th.
