Basketball Game Preview: Logansport Tigers vs. Lakeview Gators

The Logansport Tigers will challenge the Lakeview Gators at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Logansport didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 53-44 win over St. Mary on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Logansport.

Meanwhile, Lakeview came tearing into Tuesday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Tigers, posting a 64-17 victory. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Lakeview has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Logansport, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
