Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Covington-Douglas' Winning Streak

Covington-Douglas lost against Drummond back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Covington-Douglas Wildcats lost to the Drummond Bulldogs on the road by a 69-53 margin. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 153rd).

Covington-Douglas moved to 7-13 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Drummond, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
