Football Recap: Countryside Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Countryside Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Dragons 62-34. The Minutemen were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.

Edward Bell went supernova For Florida School for the Deaf & Blind., rushing for 86 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries. Henry Essex was in the mix too, providing the Dragons with two scores.

Countryside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Florida School for the Deaf & Blind, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Countryside Christian will take on Bradenton Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. The Minutemen will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Florida School for the Deaf & Blind, they will be playing at home against California School for the Deaf-Riverside at 5:00 p.m. on the 20th.
