Basketball Game Preview: Crestwood Red Devils vs. West Geauga Wolverines

The Crestwood Red Devils will face off against the West Geauga Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Crestwood's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while West Geauga has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Monday, Crestwood ended up a good deal behind Norwayne and lost 59-40. The Red Devils were down 50-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Rebecca Brady, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Hannah Ward, who had ten points and three steals.

Meanwhile, West Geauga lost to North on the road by a 41-27 margin on Wednesday.

Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for West Geauga, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Crestwood took their win against West Geauga in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 55-32. Does Crestwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Geauga turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
