Football Recap: Resurrection Comes Up Short on the Road Against Marist

Resurrection had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 19-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marist RedHawks.

When it comes to explaining why Resurrection lost, don't look at Emily Cook. Despite the final result, she threw for 300 yards and one TD.

Resurrection has already played their next game, a 44-6 loss against St. Laurence on the 26th. Marist has also already played their next contest (against Bradley-Bourbonnais), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
