Baseball Recap: Sheffield Takes a Loss

Sheffield managed to slip by Hatton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Hornets on Wednesday, falling 15-3.

Jaylen Gangar was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Jahmir Spencer also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Sheffield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Hatton, their record now sits at 7-12.

Sheffield has already played their next matchup (against Hackleburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hatton, they will look to defend their home field on April 2 against Lexington at 4:30 p.m.
