Basketball Recap: Eagle's Landing Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Eagle's Landing won the last time they faced Jones County, and Tyson Moore did his part to make sure it happened again. The Eagle's Landing Eagles came out on top against the Jones County Greyhounds by a score of 49-38 on Tuesday thanks in part to Moore, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 19 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Eagle's Landing, bringing their record for this year to 11-5. As for Jones County, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle's Landing will welcome Ola at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ola is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.9 points per game this season. As for Jones County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Locust Grove at 8:30 p.m. Locust Grove will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Jones County surely won't give up without a fight.
