St. James Academy had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Blue Valley Northwest Huskies. That's more bragging rights for the Thunder, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. James Academy never let Blue Valley Northwest on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 26-24.

St. James Academy's win bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Blue Valley Northwest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.
