Volleyball Recap: Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils vs. Tri-Valley Bulldogs
Shenandoah Valley extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-7. They lost 3-0 to the Tri-Valley Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.
As for Tri-Valley, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-1. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).
Tri-Valley can attribute much of their success to Kirra Klinger, who had ten digs. That's the most digs Klinger has posted over her last four contests. Brielle Smith also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
Looking ahead, Shenandoah Valley will square off against Marian Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tri-Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Nativity BVM at 7:00 p.m.
