Volleyball Recap: The Webb Schools Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Alexandra Wang and Gianna Rabida

The Webb Schools saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arrowhead Christian Eagles. The Gauls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The Webb Schools was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23.

Gianna Rabida and Alexandra Wang certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Rabida had five digs and three aces, while Wang had six assists and five digs.

The Webb Schools' loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Arrowhead Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

The Webb Schools didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Magnolia Science Academy on the 22nd. As for Arrowhead Christian, they will square off against Linfield Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
