Recap: Pinnacle Pioneers vs. North Mustangs
The Pinnacle Pioneers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 82-42 win over North at home. Considering Pinnacle has won four matchups by more than 25 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Among those leading the charge was Braylon Johnson, who scored 26 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryan Nelson, who scored 15 points.
Pinnacle has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 7-1 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 88.8 points per game. As for North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Pinnacle won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Hamilton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for North, they will be playing at home against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Skyline is ranked 228th, while North is ranked 229th).
