Mater Dei Catholic proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Olympian Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crusaders have posted since March 27th.

Mater Dei Catholic's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Arri Romero, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
