Triton Regional had to endure a six-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Georgetown Royals with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. The Vikings not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0).

Triton Regional picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-10. As for Georgetown, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Triton Regional and Georgetown could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Vikings will square off against North Reading at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (250 vs. 29). Meanwhile, Georgetown (ranked 256th) will meet Lynnfield (ranked 25th) at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
