Basketball Game Preview: Dominion Christian Knights vs. Woodland Wildcats

The Dominion Christian Knights will challenge the Woodland Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Dominion Christian was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 60-59 to William & Reed Academy. The Knights were up 24-10 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Meanwhile, Woodland took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 66-40 margin over Gordon Central. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Dominion Christian's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Woodland, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
