Basketball Recap: North Henderson Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

North Henderson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 89-74 victory over the Enka Jets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Henderson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Titus Moore, who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds. That's the most points Moore has posted since back in December of 2024. Brayden Hudson was another key player, going 6-for-9 to rack up 17 points.

Enka's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Trantham, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 17 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Lawson McClure, who scored 15 points and five boards.

North Henderson has already played their next matchup, a 74-52 win against Avery County on the 19th. As for Enka, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 91-75 victory against West Henderson on the 19th.
