Wilkinson County Christian Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Union Christian Academy, who was ranked 17th in their home state at the time (Wilkinson County Christian Academy was ranked sixth). Meanwhile, Riverdale Academy took a blow against River Oaks on Friday, falling 52-6.

Riverdale Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wilkinson County Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
