Tavares is 8-2 against Leesburg since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Tavares and three for Leesburg.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Tavares came up short against Umatilla, falling 12-3.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Leesburg's offense. They lost 11-0 to Lake Minneola on Wednesday.

Tavares' defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Leesburg, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Tavares took their win against Leesburg in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Yellow Jackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
