Thursday just wasn't the day for Whitman's offense. They had to suffer through a 37-0 loss at the hands of the Churchill Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Vasi Hallas had a dynamite game for Churchill, throwing for 237 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Sammy Schaffer, who picked up 65 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Whitman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Churchill, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitman will face off against Kennedy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Churchill, they will square off against Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
