Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santa Paula). They blew past the Malibu Sharks 6-0 on Friday. Considering the Cardinals have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Santa Paula is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those eight games. As for Malibu, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3-2.

Coincidentally, Santa Paula and Malibu will both be playing Fillmore the next time they take the pitch. Santa Paula will head out to face Fillmore at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Malibu will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
