Football Game Preview: Devils Lake/Minnewaukan vs. St. Mary's Central

Devils Lake/Minnewaukan may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Friday they take on St. Mary's Central at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.

Devils Lake/Minnewaukan had a rough outing against Central Cass two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Devils Lake/Minnewaukan took down Turtle Mountain 27-8.

Last Friday, St. Mary's Central were putting the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Wahpeton 55-0.

Their wins bumped Devils Lake/Minnewaukan to 2-1 and St. Mary's Central to 3-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Devils Lake/Minnewaukan and St. Mary's Central clash.
