Volleyball Recap: Troy Wins Going Away Against Xenia

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Butler, Troy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Xenia Buccaneers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Troy found their leader in sophomore Caylee Workman, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Workman.

Troy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.

Troy's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Xenia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Troy has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Miami East on the 29th. As for Xenia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Butler on the 29th.
