Softball Recap: Shenandoah Takes a Loss

Shenandoah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 8-0 to the River Pilots. Considering the last time the Zeps couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Shenandoah's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for River, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-13 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shenandoah will take on Fort Frye at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for River, they will face off against Bellaire at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pilots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Big Reds have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
