Football Recap: A.L. Brown Comes Up Short at Home Against Porter Ridge + How To Watch

A.L. Brown unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 31-21 to the Porter Ridge Pirates on Friday. While the Wonders had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Pirates 7-0.

A.L. Brown lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was AJ Settles, who threw for 116 yards and one TD on only 11 passes, and also punched in one rushing score.

A.L. Brown will be playing at home against Concord at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Porter Ridge, they will head out on the road to square off against Ardrey Kell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
