Softball Recap: Kaiser Comes Up Short

Kaiser suffered their biggest loss since February 28th on Tuesday. They lost 10-2 to the Summit SkyHawks. The Cats haven't had much luck with the SkyHawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Kaiser saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Montoya, who went 2-for-4 with two runs. Alexis Munguia also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Kaiser's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Summit, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-11 record this season.

Kaiser didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-4 loss against Grand Terrace on the 9th. As for Summit, they have also already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against San Gorgonio on the 9th.
