Madison Prep Academy entered their tilt with Collegiate on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past Collegiate, posting a 50-0 victory. Given Madison Prep Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Collegiate is ranked 293rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Landon Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 65 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 35 yards and one touchdown. Dylan Reed was another key player, throwing for 100 yards and three TDs on only seven passes.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Madison Prep Academy's defense and their 6.5 sacks. Landon Epps was especially locked on to Collegiate's QB and sacked him 2.5 times.

Madison Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Collegiate, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

As for Collegiate, they will be playing at home against Port Allen at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. Collegiate will be up against the Pelicans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.71 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
