Football Recap: Berthoud Spartans vs. Resurrection Christian Cougars

After flying high against Valley last Friday, Berthoud came back down to earth. The Berthoud Spartans took a 24-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Resurrection Christian Cougars. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost five in a row.

Berthoud lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cade Anderson #14, who picked up 135 receiving yards and a touchdown.
