Covenant Christian piles up the points against Allen Academy

Recap: Covenant Christian Cougars vs. Allen Academy Rams
Make it ten blowout wins for the Covenant Christian Cougars this season. They blew past Allen Academy 60-22 at home. The victory was nothing new for Covenant Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.
Alani Owens continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lucy Hahn, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Covenant Christian's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Allen Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covenant Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on O'Connell at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. O'Connell is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Allen Academy, they will be playing at home against Legacy Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Legacy Christian Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
