Softball Recap: Southridge Find Success + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Southridge had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Everett Seagulls 4-3. This was payback for the Suns, who suffered a 5-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Orian Hagen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on 12 hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Southridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Constance Gates, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Southridge has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-16 record this season. As for Everett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.

As of now, neither Southridge nor the Seagulls have any future games scheduled.
