Basketball Game Preview: Loomis Wolves vs. Pleasanton Bulldogs

Loomis hasn't had much luck against Pleasanton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The two teams will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:00 p.m. Pleasanton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Loomis, who comes in off a win.

Loomis played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They came out on top against Axtell by a score of 45-37.

Meanwhile, Pleasanton ended up a good deal behind Blue Hill on Tuesday and lost 52-35.

Loomis is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-17 record this season. As for Pleasanton, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

Loomis came up short against Pleasanton when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 57-51. Can Loomis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
